Riding for The King's Ranch-June 16, 2007
We raised a total of $1,500 for the Ranch
Riding for Missions left the Leather Shop in Northport as planned
at 11:00AM. About 40 riders proceeded up Highway 69N where we took CR18
over to Berry. In Berry we took the more scenic route on CR63 and ended
up just North of Samantha. This route led us onto Hwy43S to Chapel
Hill Church. Everyone arrived safely and enjoyed hamburgers beans and
chips along with some delicious deserts prepared by some of the Church's
lady members. We gave away many prizes and almost everybody
received one. Prizes included a $100 drawing, Harley Lamp, gift
certificates from many local restaurants and businesses, hats, sterling
jewelry, and much. The weather was very warm/hot. We'll be leaving
an hour earlier (10am) next year. Please plan to be with us.
If you want to be sent a reminder for the next
ride, send me an email with your name and
address and I'll mail you a reminder a few weeks before the ride.
